'Watching you': Rs 200 fine for littering or spitting at stations, on trains

Eastern Railway has launched a strict cleanliness drive, "Eastern Railway is Watching You," imposing a Rs 200 fine for littering and spitting. Commuters can report offenders by sending photos to a dedicated WhatsApp number, 9002022780. CCTV surveillance will also be used to catch those defacing railway premises. Passengers reporting offenders will be recognized as "Captain Clean."
