NEET PG 2026 Registration Window Opens: Key Dates and Fee Details

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has opened the registration portal for NEET PG 2026, inviting postgraduate medical aspirants across India to apply for the competitive examination. All applications must be submitted exclusively through the official NBEMS website, with candidates required to complete their registration within the specified deadline.

The NBEMS has issued a critical advisory regarding application fees, emphasizing that payments are final and non-negotiable. The board clarified that submitted fees will neither be refunded to candidates under any circumstances nor carried forward to future examination cycles, even in cases of withdrawal or non-appearance during the exam.

NEET PG remains the principal gateway for doctors seeking admission to postgraduate medical programmes across accredited institutions in India. The examination evaluates candidates' knowledge in clinical subjects and their readiness for specialized medical training in fields ranging from surgery and medicine to pediatrics and radiology.

Medical professionals preparing for NEET PG 2026 should ensure they complete their registration through the authentic NBEMS portal to avoid missing critical deadlines. Candidates are advised to carefully review all eligibility criteria and fee structures before submitting their applications, as the non-refundable policy applies universally.

Prospective applicants should maintain copies of their registration receipts and confirmation documents for future reference. The NBEMS has urged candidates to remain vigilant against fraudulent websites and registration schemes circulating online, relying only on official communications from the board for updates regarding examination schedules and procedural changes.
