Nashik Plans High-Tech Disaster System For Simhastha Kumbh

Nashik district is set to establish a technology-driven disaster management system ahead of the Simhastha Kumbh Mela.

A high-level meeting chaired by District Collector Ayush Prasad decided to set up a state-of-the-art District Emergency Operations Centre (DEOC) and Mobile DEOCs.

Under MITRA's Maharashtra Resilience and Disaster Project (MRDP), a modern DEOC will be established in Nashik by December 2026.
