Anurag Jain Becomes NITI Aayog CEO

Ashish Shrivastava, a 1992 batch IAS officer, is serving as secretary to the Inter-State Council under the Home Ministry. VL Kantha Rao has been shifted from the Jal Shakti Ministry to the Raj Bhasha department under the Home Ministry. Neelam Shami Rao is working as secretary to the Ministry of Textiles, and Akash Tripathi is the additional secretary to the power department.

Nikunj Shrivastava is working as a senior adviser to the executive director of the World Bank, while Chandra Mohan Thakur is deputy secretary to the Prime Minister's Office. Several other officers, including Neeraj Kumar Singh, Pankaj Jain, and Vijay Datta, are serving as private secretaries to central ministers.

The presence of these officers from the MP cadre in key positions is expected to further strengthen the state's influence in the central government.
