MP Prison Reform Law Stuck For 2 Years

A new prison law in Madhya Pradesh, passed in July 2024, is yet to come into force due to pending approval of rules. The Madhya Pradesh Sudharatmak Sevayein Evam Bandigrah Adhiniyam, 2024, aims to transform the prison system by treating prisons as reform centres.
