UGC Invites Applications For ODL, Online Programmes 2026-27

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has invited applications from Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) for recognition to offer programmes through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and/or Online mode for the academic year 2026-27.

The recognition will apply to programmes offered from the January-February 2027 academic session and onwards, as per the UGC (Open and Distance Learning Programmes and Online Programmes) Regulations, 2020 and its amendments.

Eligible HEIs can submit their applications within the following timeline: Online application window is from September 1 to September 15, 2026, and hard copy submission deadline is September 25, 2026.
