DRI Seizes ₹20 Crore Foreign Cigarettes at Nhava Sheva Port

The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has seized a massive consignment of illicit foreign-origin cigarettes valued at ₹20 crore at the Nhava Sheva port in Mumbai.

The seizure was made after DRI officers intercepted an import container arriving from Dubai, which was falsely declared as containing 'Plastic Storage Boxes' to evade customs scrutiny.
