BMC Reshuffles 12 Officers Across Mumbai Wards

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) administration carried out a major reshuffle on Thursday, transferring and reassigning several Assistant Municipal Commissioners and Deputy Municipal Commissioners across key civic wards and departments.

Alka Sasane, who was previously posted to S Ward and later C Ward, has been shifted to M/East Ward, where she had earlier served. She will now take charge of the ward. Among other postings, Swapnaja Kshirsagar has been given additional charge of the Property Tax Department along with G/South Ward.

Ujjwal Ingole has been posted to A Ward, while Yogita Kole will head T Ward. Sunil Mane will take charge of C Ward with additional charge of the Markets Department. Vanita Kokate has been given full-time charge of K/South Ward. Jagdish More has been appointed Assistant Commissioner of N Ward, replacing Maruti Pawar, who retired from service.

More was previously serving in the Solid Waste Management Department and had earlier headed A Ward. The BMC administration's decision to reshuffle the officers is aimed at improving the functioning of the civic body and ensuring efficient delivery of services to the citizens of Mumbai.
