BMC Revives 17 Fountains for BRICS Conference

The Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) has intensified its efforts to beautify the city ahead of the BRICS Cultural Conference 2026, scheduled to take place from August 5 to August 8.

As part of its preparations, the BMC has revived 17 fountains along the VIP route that will be used by delegates, including those at Airport Road, VIP Road, Ret Ghat, and Minto Hall. These fountains had been defunct since the Global Investors Summit 2025 but have now been repaired and restarted.
