Mumbai Police Arrest 40-Year-Old In Scooter Theft Case

Police laid a trap and detained the suspect, identified as Azam Abdul Mannan Belip, a resident of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The stolen Honda Activa was recovered from his possession, along with an iron sickle and Rs 1,460 in cash.

During further interrogation, the accused allegedly confessed to stealing another scooter in a separate case registered at Dongri Police Station. The Suzuki Burgman scooter was subsequently recovered from Takiya Ward in Kurla.

The accused has previous criminal records, including three cases registered at the J.J. Marg Police Station in 2017 and 2021. The investigation was conducted by API Dattatray Jadhav and a team of police constables.
