Mumbai Airport Terminals Reshuffled For Akasa Air, Air India Express

Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) is set to undergo a significant terminal reshuffle. Akasa Air will move all its domestic and international operations to Terminal 2 (T2) from August 1.

On the other hand, Air India Express will split its operations across both terminals from October 1. The airline will operate its domestic flights from Terminal 1 (T1), while its international flights will continue to depart from and arrive at T2.

According to the airport operator, Mumbai International Airport Ltd. (MIAL), passengers travelling on these airlines are requested to verify their flight terminals with the respective airlines before proceeding to the airport. Akasa Air has also requested passengers to plan for additional time to reach T2 well in time for their flight.
