Maharashtra Engineering Admissions Favor Tech Courses

A total of 1,57,103 seats have been allotted through the undergraduate engineering admission process in Maharashtra, with technology-driven courses emerging as the top choices among students.

Computer Engineering was the most preferred course, with 24,719 students securing admissions, followed by Mechanical Engineering with 17,559 admissions, and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering with 16,751 admissions.

Among universities, Savitribai Phule Pune University recorded the highest number of admissions at 58,676, followed by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere, with 29,317 admissions, and the University of Mumbai with 26,368 admissions.

At the district level, Pune recorded the highest number of admissions, with 45,961 students securing seats, followed by Nagpur with 14,485 admissions, and Nashik with 10,969 admissions.
