Madhya Pradesh FDA Seizes Substandard Dairy Products

The Madhya Pradesh Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) has intensified checks on dairy products entering the state from neighbouring states such as Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Rajasthan. This move comes after the Maharashtra FDA cracked down on milk and dairy adulteration, leading to an increase in supplies of mawa and milk cake to Madhya Pradesh.

On Monday, the FDA seized around 316 kg of mawa and milk cake, valued at approximately Rs 78,000, in Bhopal. The seized products included 150 kg of mawa valued at Rs 45,000, booked in the name of Arihant Dairy, and 166 kg of milk cake valued at Rs 33,000, booked in the name of Lovely Sweets.
