Dr Swami assured that police patrolling will be intensified in the Dindori and Sinnar MIDC areas to curb thefts, illegal liquor trade, and other criminal activities.
He also urged industrialists to maintain close coordination with the police and to conduct regular spot inspections.
Additionally, Dr Swami highlighted the importance of constituting an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) under the POSH Act for every establishment employing 10 or more people.
He informed the gathering that Bharosa Centres and Damini squads are working to ensure women's safety in the region.
The police department will also organize cyber awareness workshops for industries and the public to combat digital fraud and cybercrime.
Dr Swami advised industries to employ trained security personnel and ensure their police verification.
He also recommended establishing an integrated CCTV surveillance network covering entire industrial estates, supported by a common control room.
In his introductory remarks, NIMA President Ashish Nahar appreciated the proactive approach of the police administration towards industrial safety.
He expressed confidence that stronger coordination between industries and the police would help create a safer, more investment-friendly industrial ecosystem.
The police are maintaining heightened vigilance on highways and tourist destinations, and Dr Swami urged citizens to use the 112 emergency helpline during emergencies.
Overall, the Nashik police are taking steps to ensure a secure environment for industries, which is crucial for attracting investment and promoting economic growth in the region.
The assurance of industrial security by the Nashik police is a positive development for the region's economy.
It is expected to boost investor confidence and promote a safer, more secure environment for industries to operate.
In the context of India's economic growth, industrial security is a critical aspect that can make or break investment decisions.
A secure environment for industries can attract more investment, create jobs, and stimulate economic growth.
Therefore, the efforts of the Nashik police to ensure industrial security are significant and timely.
The success of these efforts will depend on the effective implementation of the measures announced by Dr Swami.
