Two Special Trains To Run As Amrit Bharat Express

The Ministry of Railways has decided to convert special trains operating across various railway zones into regular trains. As part of this decision, two special trains passing through the West Central Railway zone will be regularized and operate as Amrit Bharat Express services.

The first train, previously operating as special train numbers 05053/05054, will now run as 15085/15086 Gorakhpur-Bandra Terminus-Gorakhpur Weekly Amrit Bharat Express. Train No. 15085 will depart from Gorakhpur every Friday starting from August 28, 2026, and Train No. 15086 will depart from Bandra Terminus every Saturday starting from August 29, 2026. This train will halt at Bayana, Gangapur City, Kota, Bhawani Mandi, and Shamgarh stations within the West Central Railway zone.

The second train, previously operating as special train numbers 09447/09448, will now run as 19423/19424 Ahmedabad-Bhagalpur-Ahmedabad Weekly Amrit Bharat Express. Train No. 19423 will depart from Ahmedabad every Wednesday starting from August 26, 2026, and Train No. 19424 will depart from Bhagalpur every Friday starting from August 28, 2026. This train will have scheduled stops at Bhawani Mandi, Ramganj Mandi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City Junction, Hindaun City, and Bayana Junction stations within the West Central Railway zone.
