Yogi Govt Begins ₹8.81 Crore Shiv Lok Theme Park Project

The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has initiated the development of a grand 'Shiv Lok Theme Park' in Agra, with a budget of ₹8.81 crore. The project aims to transform the historic Balkeshwar Park into a spiritual and cultural destination, showcasing the 19 avatars of Lord Shiva.

The foundation stone for the project was laid by CM Yogi Adityanath on July 25, 2026. Since then, work on the project has gained momentum, with the Agra Municipal Corporation preparing a complete layout and detailed action plan. The theme park will be developed using funds from the 15th Finance Commission.
