CM Yogi Adityanath Assures Cow Rearing Help To Sitapur Woman

CM Yogi Adityanath met Poonam Devi, a resident of Sitapur, during 'Janata Darshan' in Lucknow on August 24. Poonam Devi expressed her desire to rear cows and become self-reliant. She currently has five cows and sufficient space to accommodate more.

CM Yogi Adityanath directed the ACS Animal Husbandry to provide her with an abandoned cow and ensure that she receives the benefits of eligible government schemes. He also encouraged her to serve cows with devotion, as cows are revered as the abode of 33 crore deities.

Poonam Devi had requested additional cows so she could sell milk and other dairy products and improve her family’s financial condition. CM Yogi Adityanath assured her that the government would provide her benefits under the applicable schemes, including the Mukhyamantri Sahbhagita Yojna for cattle care.

During the 'Janata Darshan', a differently-abled person also complained of illegal encroachment on his land. CM Yogi Adityanath directed officials to investigate the matter and ensure its resolution. He also directed officials to ensure the time-bound resolution of the grievances of people who had come from different districts of the state.

The 'Janata Darshan' is an initiative by the Uttar Pradesh government to hear the grievances of the people and provide them with assistance. CM Yogi Adityanath met people one by one, enquired about their well-being, and listened to their problems.
