Madhya Pradesh Introduces Biometric Attendance At Mantralaya

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced the introduction of a biometric attendance system at Mantralaya, Satpura Bhawan, and Vindhyanchal Bhawan in the state capital, Bhopal. This move aims to enhance transparency and accountability in government offices.

The biometric attendance system is part of a broader effort to improve administrative efficiency and public services. The state government plans to extend this system to districts across Madhya Pradesh.

During a special meeting at Mantralaya, Yadav emphasized the importance of addressing public grievances in a timely manner. He instructed officials to ensure that camps under the Jan Vishvas campaign are organized on Saturdays if they cannot be held on Fridays due to festivals or other reasons.

Yadav also directed the formation of a committee to oversee the free registration of population in rural areas and the demarcation of unoccupied land in villages. The committee will work to provide residential 'patta' to landless people by declaring rural land as residential.

The Chief Minister stressed the need to complete the process for implementing the Narmada Samgra Mission (NAMAN) and to focus on proper maintenance of drinking water and sewerage systems, which is the responsibility of civic bodies.

In addition, the government is investing Rs 160 crore in the development of the Ram Van Gaman Path and has received necessary forest permissions for the development of the Kamadgiri 'parikrama' path in Chitrakoot. The Krishna Pathay project, worth Rs 225 crore, is also underway.

The state government is prioritizing crowd management for the upcoming Simhastha 2028 in Ujjain.

The introduction of biometric attendance and other initiatives demonstrates the state government's commitment to improving governance and public services.

The implementation of these measures is expected to have a positive impact on the state's administrative efficiency and transparency.

As the state government continues to roll out these initiatives, it is likely that Madhya Pradesh will see significant improvements in its public services and governance.

In conclusion, the introduction of biometric attendance at Mantralaya and other government buildings marks an important step towards enhancing transparency and accountability in Madhya Pradesh.

The state government's efforts to improve administrative efficiency and public services are likely to have a lasting impact on the state's development and governance.
