Participant Paarth Joshi says that singing together creates a sense of togetherness, rather than simply watching a performance. Marketing intern Pratima Soni adds that the gatherings offer both social connection and inner peace, saying 'we come with friends, enjoy the atmosphere and leave with a sense of calm'.

Psychiatrist Dr Smita Agrawal notes that this trend reflects young adults' search for emotional balance. She says that music, community interaction, and spiritual practices can promote relaxation and a sense of belonging, but stresses that such activities should complement professional mental health support when needed.

As the city prepares for Shravan, temples across Indore are gearing up for Rudrabhishek ceremonies, bhajan programmes, and devotional events. Authorities have also strengthened arrangements for thousands of Kanwar pilgrims travelling between Indore and Omkareshwar.
