Two More Arrested in Bhiwandi TET Paper Leak Case

A major breakthrough has been achieved in the Bhiwandi Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) paper leak case, with the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Bhiwandi Police arresting two more individuals from Agra in Uttar Pradesh. The total number of accused arrested so far has now risen to 12.

The two newly arrested accused, identified as Pawan Kumar Yadav, 40, and Hariom Singh Panu, 28, were produced before a local court on Thursday and remanded to police custody till July 13. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Dr. Pawan Bansod, the investigation has revealed that the two accused were in regular contact with the alleged mastermind, Bijendra Gupta, as well as other key accused.

Preliminary investigation has established the direct involvement of the two accused in the crime, including financial transactions linked to the paper leak conspiracy. The SIT has recovered multiple CCTV footages that show Pawan Kumar Yadav with other accused, strengthening the prosecution's claim that the accused maintained close coordination before and after the alleged leak.

The probe has also revealed the alleged role of Hariom Singh Panu in arranging air travel tickets for key conspirators, suggesting that the syndicate had a structured logistical support system to execute its operations. Investigators are now scrutinising bank accounts, digital payment records, and other financial documents to trace the flow of money allegedly generated through the paper leak operation.

The police custody of previously arrested accused Kapil Dahiya and Sanjay Kumar Sharma has been extended till July 11, while four other accused have been remanded to judicial custody. The SIT is conducting coordinated raids to arrest Bijendra Gupta, who remains the prime accused and is still absconding.

The Bhiwandi TET paper leak case has revealed a well-organised interstate network handling financial transactions, travel logistics, and coordinated operations across multiple states. The case has significant implications for the education sector, highlighting the need for stricter measures to prevent such leaks in the future.

The Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) is a crucial examination for aspiring teachers in the state, and the leak has caused significant concern among candidates and education authorities. The SIT's investigation has been ongoing, and the arrests of the two accused from Agra have provided fresh leads in the case.

As the investigation continues, the SIT is expected to uncover more details about the interstate racket and its operations. The case has also raised questions about the security measures in place to prevent such leaks and the need for more effective measures to prevent cheating in examinations.

The Bhiwandi Police's efforts to crack down on the paper leak racket have been commendable, and the arrests of the two accused from Agra have sent a strong message to those involved in such activities. The case is a reminder of the importance of maintaining the integrity of examinations and the need for strict measures to prevent cheating.

In conclusion, the Bhiwandi TET paper leak case has significant implications for the education sector, and the SIT's investigation has provided fresh leads in the case. The arrests of the two accused from Agra have revealed a well-organised interstate network, and the case is expected to have a major impact on the measures taken to prevent such leaks in the future.
