Haryana Signs ₹66,000 Crore Industrial Investment Proposals

The Haryana government has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) involving investments of over ₹66,000 crore on the second day of the 'Happening Haryana 2.0' international outreach campaign.

The event, held in Mumbai, saw officers and company representatives exchange MoUs in the presence of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh.

Addressing the gathering, CM Saini said Haryana offers investors a strategic partnership built around scale, speed, policy certainty, and shared prosperity. He emphasized that the state government believes in project movement, not file movement, and has constituted an Industry-Worker Friendship Council to resolve industrial disputes.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is rapidly strengthening its position among the world's major economic powers. Haryana has emerged as an important growth engine in this development journey, contributing around 3.6% to the national economy despite accounting for only 1.3% of the country's geographical area.

The state has emerged as a major hub for various industries, including automobiles, agro-industries, engineering, electronics, logistics, IT services, and corporate activities. Districts such as Gurugram, Faridabad, Manesar, Panipat, Yamunanagar, Ambala, Karnal, and Sonipat are contributing to the state's growth through their distinct industrial and agriculture-based strengths.

Recently, MoUs worth ₹1.10 lakh crore were signed at the Industry Policy launch programme held in Gurugram. Of the 123 companies that signed MoUs, 108 have already been provided land. CM Saini highlighted that 70% of these investments have already moved to the ground, demonstrating the state's commitment to facilitating industrial growth.

The signing of these MoUs is expected to boost Haryana's industrial growth agenda, creating new opportunities for investment and employment in the state. With its strategic location, favorable business environment, and proactive government policies, Haryana is poised to become a major industrial hub in the country.

The state government's efforts to promote industrial growth and investment are likely to have a positive impact on the national economy, contributing to India's rapid growth and development. As the country moves towards becoming the world's third-largest economy, Haryana is expected to play a significant role in this journey.

In conclusion, the signing of MoUs worth over ₹66,000 crore is a significant milestone for Haryana's industrial growth agenda. With the state government's commitment to facilitating investment and growth, Haryana is poised to become a major industrial hub in the country, contributing to India's rapid growth and development.
