Navi Mumbai Cops Save Motorist's Life After Flyover Crash

On July 17, at around 10:30 pm, two police constables, Sachin Dhale and Sachin Sul, were on their way home after completing their duty at the Rabale Traffic Branch in Navi Mumbai. As they were driving on the Belapur-bound lane of the Reliance flyover, they noticed a car that had crashed into the road divider about 50 meters from the start of the flyover.

The constables immediately stopped their vehicle and approached the crashed car, where they found the driver, Sachin Bichukale, unconscious. They quickly assessed the situation and administered CPR to revive the driver. Within a few moments, Bichukale regained consciousness.

The constables then shifted Bichukale to Gawali Hospital in Rabale for further treatment. During the treatment, Bichukale's wife, Anjali, called his mobile phone, and the police informed her about the incident and assured her that her husband was safe and receiving medical attention.

Bichukale, a resident of Moraj Residency in Sanpada, works with Larsen & Toubro in Vasai. He told the police that he lost consciousness while driving home from work, which led to the accident.

On July 18, the two constables visited the hospital to enquire about Bichukale's condition, which was found to be stable. The incident highlights the quick thinking and prompt response of the police constables, who saved a life even after completing their duty.

The Senior Police Inspector of the Rabale Traffic Branch, Nitin Badgujar, praised the constables for their exemplary service. He said that their presence of mind, prompt response, and humanity are a matter of pride for the entire police force.
