Collector Warns Action Over Delayed Complaints in Narmadapuram

Collector Somesh Mishra of Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, has directed officials to resolve public complaints promptly.

Mishra issued this directive during a time-limit meeting on Monday, where he reviewed the status of complaints identified during the Chief Minister's Jan Vishwas Abhiyan.

He expressed disappointment at the long-pending cases and warned officials that they would face action if they failed to solve the problems within the given time frame.

Mishra also instructed officials to issue show-cause notices to those responsible for the delays.

In addition to addressing public complaints, Mishra reviewed preparations for the upcoming Independence Day function and instructed officials to complete all arrangements by August 13.

A rehearsal for the function is scheduled to take place on the same day.

The collector also directed officials to organize events under the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative.

Furthermore, Mishra reviewed arrangements for the Nagdwari fair and instructed officials to ensure that all necessary facilities were available to devotees and to deploy forces to maintain law and order.

He also asked the sub-divisional magistrate and Tehsilders to inspect moong procurement centers in their respective areas and ensure that only standard moong was procured.

Due to the ongoing monsoon, Mishra instructed all departments to inspect road maintenance.

Additional Collector Rajesh Shukla and other officials attended the meeting.
