PFRDA Urges MSMEs to Secure Workers' Future with NPS

Abhishek Dhiman, Assistant Manager at Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA), emphasized the importance of the National Pension System (NPS) in providing financial security and a dignified retirement to employees. He was addressing an NPS awareness workshop organized by PFRDA and the Association of Industries Madhya Pradesh (AIMP) for local micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

In a separate development, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized over 2 kg of amphetamine worth Rs 1.6 crore and arrested one person at a toll plaza on the city's bypass. The DRI officers intercepted the suspect based on specific intelligence and recovered four sealed envelopes concealed inside four salwar suit sets.
The substance tested positive for amphetamine in a field-testing kit, and the suspect was arrested under the NDPS Act, 1985. Further investigation is underway.
