Pune Rally: Traffic Diversions Announced For August 9

On August 9 at 11 am, a pre-scheduled rally will take place in Pune, prompting the city's traffic police to announce traffic diversions in several areas.

Similarly, vehicles moving from RTO Chowk towards Maldhakka Chowk can take either RTO Chowk–Jehangir Chowk–respective destination or Shahid Amar Sheikh Chowk–Kumbharves–respective destination, depending on the traffic situation.

Traffic from GPO Chowk towards Bolhai Chowk will be diverted through Kirad Chowk and Nehru Memorial Chowk before proceeding towards their respective destinations. For vehicles travelling from Pune Station Chowk towards Maldhakka Chowk, the alternate route will be Pune Station–Alankar Chowk–respective destination.

Additionally, traffic from Narpatgiri Chowk towards Maldhakka Chowk will be diverted via 15 August Chowk, Kamla Nehru Hospital, Pavale Chowk, and Kumbharves before proceeding towards their destinations.

The traffic police have also made special provisions for emergency patients visiting Sassoon General Hospital, allowing them to enter the hospital through a designated gate.

Citizens are advised to avoid the affected routes during the rally and use the suggested alternative roads. Commuters are requested to follow instructions issued by traffic personnel to avoid congestion and inconvenience.
