Ayodhya's Dashrath Path Nears Completion Ahead Of Deepotsav

Ayodhya, the city of Lord Ram, is witnessing a significant development with the construction of Dashrath Path, a 15.390-kilometre-long four-lane road. This project, initiated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, aims to connect devotees with the city's rich heritage, particularly the memories of Chakravarti Maharaj Dashrath, Lord Ram's father.

The road, which stretches from Saket Petrol Pump to the memorial site of Maharaj Dashrath at Bilwahari Ghat, is expected to improve Ayodhya's traffic system and provide a unique experience for devotees. With a width of 14 metres, the road is being constructed at a total cost of Rs 418.98 crore. As of now, around 92 per cent of the project has been completed, with the target to finish it before Deepotsav.

In addition to the road, the Ayodhya Development Authority will install 30 mudra pillars along the approximately 15-kilometre-long Dashrath Path at a cost of Rs 82.68 lakh. The pillars will be installed after the completion of the road corridor and will be illuminated at night, enhancing the beauty of Dashrath Path and becoming an attraction for devotees and tourists.
