Pune CEO Among 5 Booked For ₹77 Lakh Job Scam

A major job scam has been uncovered in Pune, where five individuals, including the CEO of Creative Web Solution, have been booked for allegedly cheating 38 young men and women out of more than ₹77 lakh. The accused, identified as Ankush Wankhede, Tejashree Khatal, Prasanna Padmakarrao Ambekar, Sagar Suresh Shelar, and Manasi Mangesh Shelar, promised high-paying jobs to the victims and collected money in the name of securing employment.

The company, Creative Web Solution, was established on ITI Road in Aundh and allegedly offered lucrative salary packages to job seekers, demanding 30 per cent of the promised package as payment. One of the victims, a 39-year-old woman, lodged a complaint at the Chaturshringi police station, stating that she was made to pay ₹2.58 lakh, while 38 other candidates collectively paid around ₹75.13 lakh.

The victims were allegedly made to work for around four months but were not paid their salaries. The company was suddenly shut down about two weeks ago, and the key persons named in the complaint reportedly went missing. The affected candidates approached the police after suffering financial losses and mental distress.

Following a preliminary inquiry, the Chaturshringi police registered a case against the five accused. Uttam Bhajnawale, Senior Police Inspector of Chaturshringi Police Station, stated that police have started recording statements from the victims and will soon detain the accused.
