Mumbai Police Arrest 2 For Amazon Refund Scam

The Gamdevi Police in Mumbai have arrested two individuals, Milan Ghanshyambhai Devmurari and Pravinkumar Roopchand Tanti, for allegedly defrauding Amazon and its customers by replacing original mobile phones with fake and cheaper handsets.

According to the police, the accused would order expensive mobile phones through Amazon and then return them, replacing the original handsets with low-quality phones. They would then obtain a full refund for the original mobile phones, causing losses to sellers.
