Bhiwandi civic body launches drive, warns of fines and action.

The Bhiwandi Nizampur City Municipal Corporation (BNCMC) has launched a drive against illegal advertisements in the city.
The civic body has warned that offenders will face criminal prosecution, penalties, and recovery of expenses incurred in removing unauthorised displays.
In a public notice, BNCMC stated that strict action will be taken against individuals, organisations, and agencies that display advertisements without prior permission.
The drive will cover public and private properties, including roads, footpaths, flyovers, and government buildings.
BNCMC has appealed to citizens, commercial establishments, and advertising agencies to obtain prior permission before displaying any advertisement.
Violators will face action under the Maharashtra Prevention of Defacement of Property Act, 1995, and the Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Act, 1949.
The corporation will remove all unauthorised advertisements immediately and recover the cost from the violators.
BNCMC has also urged residents to report illegal advertisements to their respective ward offices or the concerned municipal department.
The civic body aims to keep Bhiwandi clean and aesthetically pleasing by preventing visual pollution.
By launching this drive, BNCMC is taking a significant step towards maintaining the city's appearance and protecting public property.
This initiative is expected to have a positive impact on the city's environment and quality of life for its residents.
The BNCMC's efforts to regulate advertisements and prevent property defacement are in line with its goal of providing a better living experience for the citizens of Bhiwandi.
