Six IPOs Seek ₹5,600 Crore Next Week

Next week, India's primary market is expected to witness a surge in activity with six companies planning to raise nearly ₹5,600 crore through initial public offerings (IPOs).

The companies that are set to launch their IPOs include Horizon Industrial Parks, Lalithaa Jewellery Mart, Shankesh Jewellers, Sunshine Pictures, Gaja Alternative Asset Management, and Tempsens Instruments (India).

Horizon Industrial Parks, backed by Blackstone, will open its ₹2,600-crore IPO on August 17, with a price band of ₹57-60 per share. The issue is entirely a fresh share sale, and the company plans to use the funds mainly to repay borrowings.

Lalithaa Jewellery Mart will also launch its ₹1,700-crore IPO on August 17, with a price band of ₹190-201 per share. The offer includes a fresh issue of up to ₹1,200 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to ₹500 crore.

Other companies that are set to launch their IPOs include Shankesh Jewellers, which will open its ₹367-crore IPO on August 18, and Sunshine Pictures, which will launch its ₹282-crore offering on the same day.

Gaja Alternative Asset Management will open its ₹550-crore IPO on August 19, and Tempsens Instruments (India) will follow on August 20, offering ₹95 crore in fresh shares alongside an OFS of 1.85 crore shares.

The fresh proceeds from these IPOs will mainly be used to fund expansion, capital expenditure, debt repayment, and general corporate needs.

The pipeline for IPOs remains active, with Skyways Air Services scheduled to open its ₹583-crore IPO on August 24. These launches are expected to take the number of companies floating IPOs in 2026 to 54.
