IIMUN Marks 15th Anniversary in Mumbai on Aug 6

Mumbai will host the 15th anniversary of India's International Movement to Unite Nations (IIMUN) on August 6.

The organisation's founder and president, Rishabh Shah, stated that IIMUN has nearly 30,000 students and workers associated with it.

Shah mentioned that the organisation's reach and impact have been significant, with around 7 to 7.5 crore people impacted.

He also highlighted IIMUN's main endeavour, which is to help youth aged 11 to 19 understand what 'Bharat' is and what 'uniting the world the Bharatiya way' means.

The organisation has been working towards moulding the next generation into good leaders through various programmes over the past 15 years.

IIMUN organises thousands of programmes every year, managed by youth aged 15 to 24, who later move on to different fields such as politics, films, business, or other sectors.

Founded in 2011, IIMUN describes itself as a public affairs platform focused on spreading the idea of Bharat and preparing young people for leadership.

The organisation has expanded its presence to around 275 cities across India and more than 40 countries globally, reaching over 7.5 crore young people and involving over 1,50,000 schools and colleges.

On August 6, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat will interact with over 2,000 students during the inaugural ceremony of IIMUN's Annual Championship Conference at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai.

The event marks IIMUN's 15th anniversary and is expected to be a significant milestone for the organisation.
