Cockroach Janata Party Backs Maratha Activist Manoj Jarange Patil

Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janata Party, met Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange Patil on Thursday and extended his support to the activist, who has been on an indefinite hunger strike since August 29.

Dipke visited Jarange at Antarwali Sarati and inquired about his health, as his fast entered its 14th day. After meeting Jarange, Dipke urged the Maharashtra government to hold discussions with the activist and warned against taking any coercive action against him.

Dipke questioned the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Ministers, saying that political leaders send their children abroad for education while many rural children struggle even to access proper schooling. At the same time, Dipke appealed to Jarange to withdraw his hunger strike and take care of his health, saying, "Maharashtra needs you."
