CM Fadnavis Unveils Fire Ladder, 21 E-Buses in Nashik

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has inaugurated a state-of-the-art aerial ladder and 21 new e-buses in Nashik. The aerial ladder, which can reach a height of 10 meters, is equipped with a 400 HP engine and has a water discharge capacity of 3,000 litres per minute. It also features a 360-degree rotation capability and an outreach capacity of 30 meters.

The new fire ladder is expected to enhance the fire brigade's rescue capabilities during fire incidents in high-rise buildings. With the increasing number of high-rise buildings in Nashik due to rapid urbanisation, the Municipal Corporation has procured this equipment to strengthen the fire brigade's capabilities.

In addition to the fire ladder, the first batch of 21 air-conditioned e-buses has arrived in the city. These buses are part of the 50 electric buses sanctioned for the Municipal Corporation under the Central Government's 'PM e-Bus' scheme. Another seven buses are expected to arrive in the coming week, and citizens will be able to travel on these 28 air-conditioned e-buses starting September 1.

The inclusion of these eco-friendly buses in the 'Citylink' fleet has given a boost to the city's bus service. Currently, Citylink operates a fleet of approximately 250 buses, including 200 CNG and 50 diesel buses. The deployment of the buses had been delayed due to delays in the agreement process, but the buses arrived following the signing of the agreement last month.

The new e-buses are orange in colour and will increase passenger transport capacity ahead of the Kumbh Mela. They will also help save diesel and reduce carbon emissions. The addition of these 50 e-buses is a significant step towards making Nashik's public transportation more eco-friendly and efficient.

The inauguration of the fire ladder and e-buses is a major development for Nashik, and it is expected to have a positive impact on the city's infrastructure and environment. With the increasing focus on sustainable development and public safety, these new additions will play a crucial role in shaping the city's future.

In conclusion, the unveiling of the fire ladder and e-buses in Nashik is a significant milestone for the city. It demonstrates the government's commitment to improving public safety and transportation, and it is expected to have a lasting impact on the city's development.

The new equipment and buses will not only enhance the city's infrastructure but also contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly transportation system. As Nashik continues to grow and develop, it is essential to prioritize public safety and sustainable development, and the inauguration of the fire ladder and e-buses is a major step in this direction.

Overall, the inauguration of the fire ladder and e-buses in Nashik is a positive development for the city, and it is expected to have a significant impact on the city's infrastructure, environment, and public safety.
