Panvel Civic Body Hosts Eco-Friendly Ganesh Idol Workshop

The Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) organised a workshop on making eco-friendly Ganesh idols from natural clay at Loknete Ramsheth Thakur Public School on Thursday.

The workshop was part of the civic body's 'Utsav Ganrayacha, Jagar Paryavaranacha' initiative, which aims to promote environmental awareness during Ganeshotsav.

Mayor Nitin Patil and Municipal Commissioner Mangesh Chitale guided the initiative, which is being implemented as part of the Majhi Vasundhara Abhiyan 7.0.

The PMC's Environment Department conducted the workshop to create awareness among citizens and give students hands-on experience in making eco-friendly Ganesh idols.
