Mumbai Police Book Woman For False Tip-Off, Trespassing

A woman and an unidentified man have been booked by the Sakinaka police for allegedly giving a false tip-off about a drug party at a 27-year-old Andheri East resident's house and trespassing into the premises.

The complainant, a resident of Andheri East, had met the woman, Dkshayani, a medical student from Telangana, through social media and they later entered a relationship.

The couple got engaged in Delhi in August 2024 with their families' consent, but the marriage was called off in June 2026 with both families' consent after disputes continued.

According to the FIR, during their relationship, Dkshayani would allegedly hit her head against a wall, cut her wrist, and threaten suicide when the complainant refused her demands.

On August 13, when the complainant's friends were at his house, Dkshayani allegedly sent an unidentified man to the residence around 10pm.

The man allegedly entered the premises and peeked inside, telling the complainant that Dkshayani had sent him.

Dkshayani later allegedly called the police control room, claiming a drug party was underway at the residence.

However, police searched the house but found no drugs or evidence of a party.

The police said their investigation found that Dkshayani had allegedly provided false information.

Based on the complainant's complaint, Sakinaka police registered an FIR last week against her and the unidentified man under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
