Digvijaya Singh Speaks On UCC

Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh recently expressed his thoughts on the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), stating that it should be implemented in a manner that unites society and does not create divisions.

Speaking to reporters in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, Singh emphasized the importance of utilizing the UCC to foster social unity, rather than creating bitterness. He reminded that the UCC was made a part of the Constitution when the Congress party was in power.

The Congress leader also commented on the controversy surrounding the Animal Husbandry Department, alleging that the removal of former minister Lakhan Patel established that corruption had taken place. He stated that the removal proves that corruption has occurred.

Additionally, Singh discussed his proposed padyatra and the Ram Mandir donation dispute. He said that Congress in-charge Harish Choudhary's remarks on the march were justified and urged people opposed to the alleged theft of donations to join the movement.

Regarding the Ram Mandir row, Singh stated that he had already said everything he needed to say on the matter. He also commented on the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe involving Champat Rai, saying that the investigating agency should record the statements of everyone who has publicly made allegations.

The Uniform Civil Code has been a topic of discussion in India, with many debating its potential impact on society. The Congress party has been clear in its stance on the issue, and Singh's comments reflect the party's desire to utilize the UCC to promote social unity.

In the context of Indian politics, the UCC has been a contentious issue, with different parties and groups holding varying views on its implementation. The Congress party has historically been in favor of the UCC, and Singh's comments reinforce this stance.

The Animal Husbandry Department controversy and the Ram Mandir donation row are also significant issues in Madhya Pradesh, with many calling for greater transparency and accountability. Singh's comments on these issues reflect the Congress party's commitment to addressing corruption and promoting social justice.

In conclusion, Digvijaya Singh's comments on the UCC and other issues highlight the importance of promoting social unity and addressing corruption in India.
