Jalgaon Launches Tree Plantation Initiative

Jalgaon district has launched its first pilot tree plantation initiative under the Viksit Bharat Livelihood and Employment Mission (Rural) and the Community Forest Rights (CFR) framework. The initiative was inaugurated by District Collector Rohan Ghuge at Nimdya village in Raver taluka on Sunday.

The programme aims to plant approximately 3,760 trees across 5,000 hectares of land in five selected villages, including Nimdya.
