Innov8X Wins UPRISE Innovation Competition

The Yogi government's UPRISE initiative has provided a platform for students to showcase their innovative ideas and business models in Lucknow. On September 10, 2026, students presented their projects at Integral University, which included ideas related to artificial intelligence, healthcare, security, and more.

The shortlisted ideas were diverse and covered various areas, including a portable AI-based anti-drone defence system, a healthcare platform, and a smart wearable posture monitoring system. Other projects included a medical platform for doctors, a property information platform, and an automated system for precision agriculture.

Innov8X, a team comprising Ramish Adeel, Muskaan, Faraz Nadeem, Laiba Rahman, Rehan Shaikh, and Faizan-e-Raza, secured first place in the competition with their AI-based surveillance and security system. Scanvidense, a team consisting of Anas Khalid, Abdul Malik, Ali Hasan, Alina Farooqui, Abdul Rahman, and Saher Zahra, came in second with their medical platform. The Meridian team, comprising Imama Bint Anwar, Arisha Khanam, Abdullah Ashraf Ali, Mohammad Sayam Ashraf, MD Mamunur Rashid, and Hasan Abbas Niazi, secured third place with their smart wearable posture monitoring system.

The students' ideas and presentations were evaluated by Harshit Desai, Simran Sahni, Poonam Khandelwal, and Harshvardhan Javeri.
