Shivraj Singh Chouhan Unveils 5-Year Agriculture Plan for Dewas

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Union Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Minister, chaired a meeting of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh. The meeting also discussed the need for a comprehensive water conservation plan, expediting pending Narmada Development Authority and Jal Nigam projects, and completing pipeline work, road reconstruction, and railway waterlogging solutions on priority.

In the health sector, Chouhan called for making Dewas TB-free at the earliest and launching a special campaign to provide Ayushman Bharat coverage to senior citizens aged above 70 years and other eligible beneficiaries.
