Nashik Collector Promises Transparent Land Acquisition
Nashik Collector Ayush Prasad assures fair compensation and rehabilitation for farmers affected by Parikrama Route project. Meeting held to address farmers' concerns

The district administration in Nashik has committed to a transparent land acquisition process for the proposed Parikrama Route, a ring road project for the Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2027.
District Collector Ayush Prasad emphasized the importance of balancing development with the interests of farmers. A meeting was held at the Gram Panchayat office in Madsangvi to address the concerns of farmers who will be affected by the project.

Farmers who opt for the direct purchase process will receive compensation at twice the applicable rate, along with an additional 25% lump-sum amount. The administration will disburse compensation through joint bank accounts of landholding groups.
