Railways Run Special Train For Guru Purnima
Special train between Delhi and MP's Ashoknagar from July 26. Extra coaches added to two trains.

The railway administration has announced the operation of a special train between Delhi Sarai Rohilla and Ashoknagar in Madhya Pradesh to cater to the increased passenger rush during the Guru Purnima festival. Train No. 04004 will depart from Delhi Sarai Rohilla Railway Station on July 26, 2026, at 12:15 PM, while Train No. 04003 will depart from Ashoknagar Railway Station on July 30, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
The special train will consist of 24 coaches, including 1 Third AC coach, 2 Sleeper coaches, 19 General coaches, and 2 SLR coaches. Major halts for the train will include Faridabad, Palwal, Kosi Kalan, Mathura Junction, Agra Cantt, Dholpur, Gwalior Junction, Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi Junction, and Bina Junction.
In addition to the special train, the railway administration has also added extra coaches to two special trains passing through the Bhopal Division to accommodate the increased passenger rush during the summer holidays. The 04715/04716 Bikaner–Sainagar Shirdi Weekly Special will have one Sleeper coach and one Third AC coach added from July 4-25, while the 04717/04718 Hisar–Tirupati Special will have one Third AC coach added from July 4-25.

The return journey will depart from Ashoknagar on July 30, 2026, at 5:00 PM and arrive at Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 8:45 AM on July 31, 2026.
