India Delivers 50+ Outcomes At BRICS Summit

The BRICS Summit, chaired by India, concluded with a focus on outreach, inclusivity, and the ability of member nations to speak directly and candidly on global governance and multilateralism.

According to Sudhakar Dalela, Secretary (Economic Relations), India made a special effort to engage non-member countries, including the President of the African Union, the President of Burundi, the President of the Philippines, and the chair of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Bahrain.

India sought to make BRICS more inclusive by holding over 350 meetings across approximately 30 cities nationwide.
