Dindori Villagers Raise Water, Land Issues

A public hearing was held at the Collectorate meeting room in Dindori, Madhya Pradesh, on Tuesday, where residents from different parts of the district submitted applications related to various issues.

Another issue raised was related to land rights. Leela Bai of Manikpur alleged that after her father's death, the ancestral property was transferred without her knowledge. She sought restoration of her legal share in the land.

The Collector directed the SDM to examine the matter according to rules.

A resident of Ward No. 4, Kaushalya Kanskar, complained that Preeti Kanskar had allegedly occupied her leased house forcibly. The Chief Municipal Officer of Dindori Nagar Parishad was asked to investigate.

The public hearing provided a platform for villagers to raise their concerns and seek resolution. The Collector's directives to concerned officials are expected to bring relief to the affected villagers.
