Tata Communications' Q1 Net Profit Falls 43.9% to ₹130 Crore

Tata Communications reported a 43.9% decline in its consolidated net profit to ₹130 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared to ₹232 crore in the same period last year. The company's consolidated revenue from operations rose by 10.5% year-on-year.

The company's Data Services revenue increased to ₹5,708 crore for Q1 FY27 from ₹5,130 crore in Q1 FY26. Digital Portfolio Revenue also saw a rise to ₹2,940 crore from ₹2,510 crore year-on-year.

Tata Communications reported an exceptional loss of ₹106.36 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. This loss includes a staff cost optimisation charge of ₹44.78 crore and a provision for contractual obligation of ₹50 crore, among other items.

The company's normalised consolidated EBITDA grew by 12.7% year-on-year. Normalised EBITDA reached ₹1,281 crore with margins at 19.4%, according to the company's highlights.
