Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Woman Dies By Suicide

A 30-year-old woman, Komal Yogesh More, allegedly died by suicide in the Bajajnagar area of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Monday.

The incident came to light after Komal's brother, Dr Krishna Rajdhar Pawar, lodged a complaint with the Waluj MIDC Police against her husband and in-laws.

According to the police, Komal's parents received a phone call informing them that she had fallen unconscious. Her brother immediately rushed to the spot and found that she had died.

Ligature marks were found on her neck, and she was taken to the Government Medical College and Hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

Dr Pawar alleged in his complaint that Komal's husband, Yogesh Revnath More, frequently abused and assaulted her under the influence of alcohol.

He further alleged that her brother-in-law, Sachin More, father-in-law, Revnath More, and mother-in-law, Kanta More, also subjected her to harassment.

Komal had repeatedly informed her parental family about the alleged abuse, according to the complaint.

Unable to bear the harassment, she allegedly died by suicide at her residence.

The police initially registered an accidental death report but later registered a case against Yogesh Revnath More, Sachin More, Revnath More, and Kanta More after Dr Pawar's complaint.

Komal's relatives gathered outside the Waluj MIDC Police Station, demanding strict action against the accused.
