Mahavitaran Assures Prompt Power Issue Resolution In Jalgaon

Mahavitaran Director (Operations) Dhananjay Aundhekar has assured entrepreneurs in Jalgaon, Dhule, and Nandurbar districts that electricity-related issues will be resolved promptly. Aundhekar made this statement during a meeting with entrepreneurs at Mahavitaran's Jalgaon Circle office.

The meeting was attended by Chief Engineer I A Mulani, Superintending Engineer Sanjay Sarg, and In-charge Superintending Engineer Chetan Nandanwar. Entrepreneurs from Jalgaon district attended in person, while those from Dhule and Nandurbar districts participated through video conference.

Discussions between Mahavitaran and entrepreneurs covered various issues, including power infrastructure, quality of supply, feeder and substation capacities, voltage quality, new industrial connections, and future demand projections for industrial areas.

Aundhekar stated that if industrial consumers provide land for new 33 kV substations, the process of setting them up would be expedited to ensure quality and uninterrupted power supply to industrial estates. He instructed officials to identify the causes of frequent power outages and implement remedial measures.

The capacity of certain substations in the Jalgaon MIDC area has already been augmented. Sites for two proposed substations have been acquired, while follow-up with MIDC is underway for the remaining two sites. Aundhekar assured that uninterrupted power supply would be provided to industries in Dhule and Nandurbar districts by undertaking necessary works.

Entrepreneurs expressed satisfaction that a director-level official had visited Jalgaon to understand their difficulties and assured them of a resolution. Aundhekar also directed the NCC agency to hold weekly meetings to resolve consumer grievances related to billing issues that may arise after the installation of smart meters.

Aundhekar instructed officials to prioritise providing quality service and uninterrupted power supply to consumers. He also emphasised the need to focus on electricity bill collection and reduce power leakage.

The assurance from Mahavitaran is expected to boost industrial growth in the region. With the development of necessary infrastructure, entrepreneurs can expect a more reliable and efficient power supply, which will help them to operate their businesses smoothly.

In the long run, this initiative is likely to have a positive impact on the economy of the region, creating more job opportunities and attracting new investments. The solar revolution underway in Maharashtra is also expected to contribute to the growth of the industrial sector in the state.

Overall, the assurance from Mahavitaran is a welcome move for entrepreneurs in Jalgaon, Dhule, and Nandurbar districts, and it is expected to play a crucial role in the development of the industrial sector in the region.
