The Bhiwandi-Nizampur City Municipal Corporation (BNCMC) has begun preparations for the upcoming Ganeshotsav festival, scheduled to take place from September 14 to 25.
A review meeting was held under the chairmanship of BNCMC Mayor Narayan Ratan Chaudhary, where discussions focused on providing basic amenities to devotees and promoting an environment-friendly celebration.

He also directed the engineering department to inspect roads, prepare a list of potholes, and submit a repair plan.
Additionally, Choughule called for restricting the entry of heavy vehicles into market areas during the festival shopping period and implementing a single-window mechanism for Ganesh mandals to obtain permissions.
