Collector Directs Officials To Provide Land, Free Sand For Gharkuls

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Collector Vinay Gowda GC has directed officials to provide land and free sand for the construction of Gharkuls under the Gramin Awas Yojana. The directive was given during a joint review meeting of the Revenue Department and the Zilla Parishad at the District Collectorate on Wednesday.

The Collector instructed the concerned officers of the Rural Development Department to submit proposals for providing land to beneficiaries and regularizing houses on encroached land. He also directed that five brass of sand be provided free of cost for the construction of Gharkuls.

The meeting was attended by Zilla Parishad President Avinash Galande Patil, Chief Executive Officer Minnu PM, and other officials from the district. The Collector emphasized the need for speedy completion of the Gharkul sanction process and directed that the necessary documents be submitted to the district administration immediately.

To ensure that Gharkul beneficiaries receive free sand, the Revenue and Rural Development Departments will coordinate to make sand available from government sand depots located near the beneficiaries' homes. The Collector directed that any difficulties that may arise be resolved promptly.
