Panvel Schools Celebrate ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign

Panvel Municipal Corporation area schools are conducting patriotic activities under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign ahead of Independence Day.

The activities, guided by PMC Commissioner Mangesh Chitale, aim to foster respect for the national flag and patriotism among students.

On Wednesday, six activities were organised across four schools, including Loknete Ramsheth Thakur English Medium School, St Joseph High School, CKT School, and MNR School of Excellence.

Students participated in Tricolour rallies, rangoli competitions, and exhibitions, creating colourful designs centred on patriotic themes.

The campaign aims to sensitize students to the significance of the national flag and their responsibilities towards the nation.

PMC Transport Manager Kailas Gawde appealed to citizens to hoist the Tricolour at their homes and share selfies with the national flag on social media using the hashtag #SelfieWithTiranga.

The enthusiastic participation of students has generated a positive response to the campaign at the school level.
