₹5 Crore Cash, Weapons Seized From Labour Leader's House

A massive haul of ₹5 crore in cash and a large cache of weapons were seized from the house of deceased labour leader Baba Farjan in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The police raid was conducted on Friday night after a tip-off about a man possessing a firearm at the premises.

The search was carried out by a police team, but they did not find the suspected AK-47. However, they stumbled upon a room filled with bundles of currency notes. The counting process took nearly 16 hours, revealing a total of approximately ₹5 crore in cash.

In addition to the cash, police seized four rifles, two pistols, two air guns, and around 6,500 cartridges. The licences for four of the seized firearms were in Farjan's name. Traditional weapons such as knives, spears, axes, guptis, swords, and sickles were also recovered.

The farmhouse, located in the Mitmita area, has around 50 to 60 CCTV cameras installed. The police took the CCTV DVR into custody for further investigation after completing the search and seizing the weapons.

Baba Farjan was a labour leader and alleged gangster from the 1990s. The police action was taken after a tip-off claimed that a man was carrying an AK-47 at Farjan's farmhouse.

The recovery of such a large amount of cash and weapons has raised questions about the source of the funds and the purpose of the arms. The police are investigating the matter further.

The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar police have been actively cracking down on criminal activities in the area. This seizure is a significant haul and indicates the police's efforts to curb illegal activities.

The labour leader's house was searched thoroughly, and the police are analyzing the evidence collected. The investigation is ongoing, and more details are expected to emerge.

The seizure of ₹5 crore in cash and a large cache of weapons from Baba Farjan's house has significant implications for the law and order situation in the area. It highlights the need for continued vigilance and action against criminal activities.

In conclusion, the police raid on Baba Farjan's house has resulted in a major haul of cash and weapons. The investigation is ongoing, and the police are working to uncover the source of the funds and the purpose of the arms. This incident underscores the importance of police action in maintaining law and order in the area.
